what makes PT FITNESS unique?

Senior Personal Trainer and PT FITNESS founder, Chris Nash, has over 14 years' experience in fitness training, that started in the military as a regimental Physical Training Instructor (PTI).


Chris's background in fitness and dedication to health is combined with personal training qualifications, including: GP Referral, Nutrition and Weight Management Consultant, Torso and Core Stability Trainer, Power Plate Trainer and Personal Trainer in Advanced Instruction.


Extensive physical fitness knowledge combined with extreme endurance sport experience at competition level, forms the basis for a unique and specific type of training available through PT FITNESS.


Treating the body as one unit, PT FITNESS has developed a training format that is both safe and very effective, and works for all types of people. The training is fast-paced, functional, and challenging. In addition, training sessions can be completed in only half an hour, an advantage to those with busy schedules.


Results are important, not only to you, but to us also. Getting you to achieve your goals is what it's all about. We are results-driven trainers, but not ruthless. We make sure that when you are being pushed, you are also having fun, and enjoying this new you that you're creating.


When most people go to the gym they train their body in parts: upper body, including chest, back, arms; lower body, including legs and abdominals. Separate to this, is time spent on cardiovascular exercises.


In life, when do you use or get time to isolate your body into groups to carry out even the most basic of tasks? Our bodies are designed for functional use. Yes, we can make your body more efficient, a better machine to cope with whatever you may face, to last longer, go faster, be stronger, but the whole time it is important to take care to make sure it works together, as one!


PT FITNESS provides a holistic approach to fitness training, combining strength, endurance and cardiovascular exercises in one programme. Instead of breaking down exercises into their individual types, our training brings all three together, regarding the body as a whole.


This is how we care for our clients, but still, we are trained to be able to deliver whatever it is our client is looking for. This could be weight loss, weight gain, nutritional advice, endurance training, Strength training, to tone up, and everything else you may want from a trainer and training.
